Terms of Use

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Lumerta, which makes Risker. They cover the Risker apps, this website and the services behind them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Use your real name and keep your details accurate. One person, one personal account.
• Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.

Your content

You own what you post: posts, Blitz videos, photos, comments, messages, portfolio, listings and files. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or caption) and distribute it, only to run, show and improve Risker. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have shared it or where we must keep it by law.

Only post what you have the right to share. You are responsible for your content and what you agree with other members.

Rules for everyone

Don’t use Risker to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone.
• Post anything illegal, sexually explicit, violent or hateful, or anything that exploits children.
• Pretend to be someone else, or mislead people about who you are, your skills or your work.
• Post fake jobs, fake services, scams, pyramid schemes or spam.
• Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Collect other members’ information by scraping or automation, or use it outside Risker without their permission.
• Break, overload, probe or get around the security of Risker, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
• Sell, rent or transfer your account.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities. You can report posts, profiles and messages, and block anyone, from the app.

Jobs, services and orders

• Risker connects people. We are not an employer, recruiter, agent or party to any job, service or order between members, and we don’t check every listing.
• Payment for services is arranged between the buyer and the seller, outside Risker. An order on Risker records the agreed price, the steps, the files and the approvals. It is not a payment, escrow or guarantee.
• Sellers must deliver what they describe. Buyers must pay what they agree. Disputes are between you and the other member.
• Employers must follow the law on hiring, including on discrimination, pay and data about applicants.
• Reviews must be honest and about a real order.

Paid plans

• Risker is free. Risker Plus, Pro and Premium are optional subscriptions that add features shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions are bought through the App Store and billed by Apple. They renew automatically until you cancel, at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your Apple ID’s subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• If you move to a smaller plan, nothing you already have is taken down, but you can’t add more than the new plan allows. Risker AI usage on every plan has limits that reset over time.
• We may change what plans include or cost. We’ll tell you in advance, and a change in price applies from your next renewal.

Risker AI

Risker AI suggests text, reviews, matches, rankings and answers. It can be wrong or incomplete. Check what it produces before you rely on it or send it, and don’t use it as the only basis for a hiring decision. You are responsible for what you send. Automated replies are labelled as automated.

Verified badge

The verified badge means the member passed an identity check with our verification provider. It is free and can’t be bought. It doesn’t mean we vouch for their skills, work or conduct.

Ending your use

You can stop using Risker and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription: cancel it with Apple.

Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep Risker running well, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We are not responsible for what members post, offer or do, on Risker or off it.

As far as the law allows, Lumerta is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim against us arises from your content or your breach of these terms.

Apple

If you use Risker on an Apple device: these terms are between you and Lumerta, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Risker, and is not responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where these terms don’t cover something.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Risker after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
